OUR PROJECTS

FOUNDATIONS AND HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS

Profits realised from the currency and commodities transactions will be used by CAPITAL MERCHANT LIMITED to sponsor the foundation founded by the Chairman. This foundation is dedicated to making a positive impact on the quality of life as well as on the economy of specific global geographic areas.

The foundation, GILLIER HUMANITY, uses a two tier approach by first taking care of basic health / nutrition / clothing needs, followed by infrastructure / job / opportunities / housing / education / sports. This “hand up not hand out” philosophy will enable individuals and families in the selected areas to become self-sufficient and live productive and healthy lives while boosting productivity of the entire region.

MISSION STATEMENT: To make a positive impact on the lives and livelihood of individuals and families by providing services and education as well as economic opportunities to sustain the well-being and growth of the area. INITIAL FOCUS: Venezuela, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Fiji, Tahiti, and Las Vegas, Nevada. PROJECTS: Please see the extensive Humanitarian Project section below.

HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS

DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

MASTER PLANHealth and Economic Leverage Project (HELP)

Instead of providing “hand-outs”, GILLIER HUMANITY focuses on comprehensive, long term business opportunities to the selected developing area after the basic health and nutritional needs of the people are met. This builds self-esteem and local pride which will contribute to growth and prosperity, rather than just perpetuating a welfare state.

GILLIER HUMANITY plans to build hospitals and clinics to treat illnesses as well as preventative medicine, and also will build schools for pre-school up to 10th grade. Food, clothing and medicine will be provided for all who are in need from distribution centers, which will also create employment opportunities. Traveling doctors and nurses will be able to visit people in surrounding islands using specially designed medical boats to provide health care to people who are unable to travel to the main center.

Housing will be provided by easy-to-build kits, providing both construction jobs and the shelter itself.

Warehouses are a key element of GILLIER HUMANITY, since they will provide jobs and services for the new infrastructure (see EMPLOYMENT below).

Sports play an important role in building a sense of community as well as general fitness and mental well-being. Recreation buildings, sports domes, gymnasiums and playgrounds will provide access to various sports such as football, rugby, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and martial arts among others.

EMPLOYMENT:

Each fully-staffed location is expected to employ hundreds of personnel, making GILLIER HUMANITY one of the largest employers in each area. GILLIER HUMANITY will work with the local government to bring hotels, casinos, restaurants and other tourist destinations in to the area. GILLIER HUMANITY warehouses will provide these new facilities (as well as the hospitals, clinics, schools and athletic facilities) with various expendable supplies such as bottled water, shampoo, soap, linens and towels. These will be provided by a warehouse / distribution center and delivered daily to each facility, thus creating manufacturing, warehousing and transportation employment. In addition, the warehouses will also supply the hotels, hospitals, schools and athletic facilities with durable goods such as tables, chairs, beds, televisions, pool furniture, sporting goods, restaurant equipment, and much more.

PROFITS:

Profits will go back to GILLIER HUMANITY to fund additional opportunities in each area, as well as to provide investment capital to finance expansion into other locations in the core regions. Expansion into other countries in the future is also planned.

SUMMARY:

With capital provided by various projects, GILLIER HUMANITY is well-positioned to make a significant difference selected communities located in developing countries around the world.

Green construction, renewable energy, water recycling and purification, and window wall modular construction are among the various construction techniques that will be used. Construction materials and architecture will blend harmoniously with the adjoining Aquaterra project to create a comprehensive and cohesive campus community.

SUMMARY:

Aquaterra and the Gillier Humanity International Health and Medical Centre and Support Complex will become a prototype for a complete Entertainment and Life Style Community, with an emphasis on wellness that celebrates the entire human being, through physical, emotional and spiritual balance.
